PAN Card: The Permanent Account Number (PAN) card of the applicant is mandatory for GST registration.
Proof of Identity: Any of the following can be submitted as proof of identity:
- Aadhar Card
- Passport
- Voter ID Card
- Driving License
Proof of Address: Any of the following can be submitted as proof of address:
- Aadhar Card
- Passport
- Voter ID Card
- Driving License
- Recent utility bill (electricity, water, gas)
- Rent agreement, if the business is operating from a rented premise
Photograph: A passport-sized photograph of the applicant is required.
Business Proof:
- For Proprietorship: You can submit documents such as the rental agreement, electricity bill, or property tax receipt.
- For Partnership Firm: Partnership deed and a letter from partners.
- For Company: Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association.
- For LLP: Certificate of Incorporation and LLP Agreement.
Bank Account Proof: A scanned copy of the first page of the bank passbook or a bank statement is required.
Authorized Signatory Proof: If the application is being filed by an authorized signatory, the proof of appointment and their Aadhar card details are needed.
Business Address Proof: A document proving the ownership or occupancy of the business premises, like a rental agreement, property tax receipt, etc.
Digital Signature Certificate (DSC): For private limited companies and LLPs, a Class 2 or Class 3 digital signature is required for the authorized signatory.
Letter of Authorization: If someone other than the primary applicant is authorized to file the application, a letter of authorization is required.
Business Details: Details about the nature of the business, goods and services supplied, and the expected turnover are also necessary.
